That was so wonderful of you just thinking of flying and being there when she gives birth :-)
I think she would understand if you just save your money, because in case she received your petition the baby can easily follow. It is expensive to fly international. Why not offer to pay for her hospital bill? or video-conference while she gives birth (is it allowed in hospitals?-I dont know) or be on the phone while she gives birth, at least you are still there. What does she want you to do?
They are changes the laws about non-Citizens having children in the US. Be careful.
I would save your money. An emergency could come up. I'm sure she has plenty of family support. Also, you can never be sure the exact date that she will have the baby, so could be a wasted trip.
Save the money but be sure to register the birth of your child to the US Embassy if you are an American Citizen.
