I already have a program for digital pics but have just been given some realy old pics 1905 and would like to try and remove blemishes, some from second war but have been folded across the middle.
Is there a download so I can try and restore these pics please,Thanks in anticipation of help.

Judging by the sound of the image, you will need a professional program like photoshop. Cs2 is the latest version. To down load it from adobe would cost you about £400, but you can get it for nothing from a peer to peer site like
http://btjunkie.org/ I will leave that at your discretion. Photoshop can seem a bit daunting, but once you've got the hang of it, its the comprehensive photo editing suite on the market. Besides, if you go down that rout, id be happy to take 5 Min's out to give you a hand. Ive been a pro photographer for 7 years now in case you were wondering

paint shop pro?
I got a freebie DL of PaintShop Pro 7 (it's supposed to expire after thirty days, but I'm on Day 89, and it's still working).
adobe photo shop is all ways good for that sort of thing
Sorry, no answer here. I'm just answering so it stays in my answer folder. I'd like to know myself. Thanks for asking.
Sorry, I can't give you the exact device or description, but QVC do such an item.
Look out for their small office, home office hours. Or check out their website. qvcuk.com
Honestly, they do just what you're after. Or if you can't find it, phone the helpline. 0800 50 40 30.
Two suggestions .....
1) Buy Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 or Corel Paint shop Pro X (both under $100)
2) Buy a book that shows you how to do this. Visit your local large bookstore, and browse to see one that fits what you want to do.
If you email me at pynkgold@aim.com I can send you a tutorial.
I think but dont quote me on this you can scan them in and any up to date photo suite will do it for you, good luck anyway.
Any of the above mentioned will do the job.
I scanned photos onto my PC and used Paint Shop Pro :-) they came out a treat.
But remember, don`t rush the job, patience is a virtue :-)
You recently answered a question of mine about the difference between car and plane seat belts. You began your answer I hope your not offended but your question is stupid? If you had bothered to READ the question it continued to state that being a passenger with a child on your lap would be wrong! But it seems you started to spout your opinions before you understood my point, I bet your mouth has got you in trouble before, baldy!
