I am trying to print documents over a network on my hp LaserJet 1300 Printer. It sends the documents from the printer, but nothing prints. If I turn off the printer and turn it back on again, everything will start printing. Is there something that I can change that will make the documents print automatically? Does the printer have an "Online" button? Be sure the Online button is lit.
Your word processor may be set to wait for a signal from the printer before printing. Look at your print menus to see if a box or drop-down selection labeled something like "manual feed" is selected. That will stop a printer dead in its tracks. Other Answer
