Recommended kaiten sushi restaurants in Tokyo?

Are there any interesting kaiten sushi restaurants in Tokyo? Maybe something with an interesting theme or better than the usual kaiten sushi quality? I know kaiten sushi isn't the best but I like it for a quick and relatively inexpensive meal. By cjw333There is a normal kaiten sushi place in a very funky neighborhood. The place is called shimokitazawa 下北沢. It is off the Odakyu Line, 5 minutes from Shinjuku. I go there often. It is only one stop away from my station and the area is just cool and funky. Bars, second hand clothing, coffee, small tiny streets that just make everything fun.

As for your quest to find a unique kaiten sushi place, maybe you might like Tsukiji fish market. You can see the fish being sold and then go to the restaurants nearby and have fresh sushi right off the boats (sorta).

Try any sushi place near the Tsukiji fish market for the best sushi bang for the buck. The thing to do is take in the market in the early morning 0500- and then stuff your face. Go to Tsukiji subway station on the Hibiya line and you will find sushi up the ying-yang.
