Hey guys (and girls)
I am a website designer and I was just wondering what should I charge for this website I made, the introduction sucks so skip it and just scroll down and click enter, and tell me what you think about it and what I should charge them?
Here is the site I made for them, its not 100% complete but its almost finished and just for now it is using a subdomain

dont complain about some pages not working properly or about the address, just tell me what you think about the site itself and what you think I should charge.
there is a bug in the menu but when the site is finished everything will be working properly, (until i properly fix the menu it is best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024 X 768)

Great work!
Isn't web design a bitchy thing!!!
I'm a graphic designer and just tried to design my own web page with major difficulty! I'll get there!
I think you've done a great job! You should charge according to your labour time and the number of pages and links etc.
I know how hard it is to try and quote on things like that and you don't wanna undercut yourself! I'd ring some reputable web design companies and play dumb like a customer and ask how much they'd charge for a site to be created with the same number of pages etc!
Let me know what you end up getting!!!

I've sold about a dozen sites in the last two years from about 700 to 2200 $ and I usually base it off of hours of design time, if they want cheap i go with a general html template and add thier content. if i design the interface, flash intro, animation, photoshop backgrounds etc. i mark it up as it's a custom site and it took some real time. i'd say if you built this site from scratch, around 1400-1600 USD, if you used templates, generic stuff, then about half of that.
