My final leg of my holiday is in Dubai (5 nights) - hoping to spend some time relaxing/ playing golf/ sun bathing etc.
Any other suggestions of things to do in Dubai?

go to the beach
DEFINITELY go for a dessert safari - will take up one afternoon to late night - NOT TO BE MISSED....
do dune bashing if you fancy it... ride the dune buggies...
have sheesha (experience of a lifetime) although go to one that serves sheesha outside rather than inside - it can get stuffy indoors !
check out gold souq - i bet you havent seen so much gold in one place !
check out the late night restaurants and have lubneh / shawarma at lebanese restaurants in deira - very refreshing at 2 am in the morning !!
check out atleast 5 big shopping malls !

I've been told, its a great place to go shopping and get some bargins. But I'm not sure how you'd go about getting it home. =)

Go off road driving in the sand dunes. What a rush.
Check out the indoor ski slope. Go to the top of that tall tower thingy.

There is ice skating at the Hyatt Regency....there is the gold souk(okay....Im a female and thats where I would spend all my time lol) go out to the desert ...go to Shahjaha glo to the malls I think they have some Bedouin Arab camps and also some horse events there also. Take a look round Par Dubai also. Have fun....I love Dubai.

I would say go skiing! They have an indoor Black Run.
5 nights seems to be short to enjoy in Dubai. But I may recommend you few places:
seems you have a passion for golf then i suggest you go to the dubai golf club and book a reservation at the golf resort & spa - m sure you enjoy the time there, very relaxing
also you may visit the hyatt regency hotel in deira dubai to check for any live concerts going on - check with timeoutdubai.com
wanna go for boating or fishing i would suggest you contact the jumeirah beach club.
fond of clubbing visit the palm hotel in bur dubai for live djs performing.

Whatever you do, Do not miss Shopping in Dubai!! or you can just go to the beach, but go bungii jumping... lol
