I am creating a logo for a french bakery, and i would like to incorperate something from the owners homeland. I've heard that lavender is something unique to that area.. but not much else. By Leigh

Lavender is. But also famous painters (Van Gogh, Cezanne), the Cote d'Azur.
In summary it's the colours that attract people.
I agree with all that's been said. I spent many vacations there, both inland (Avignon, Grasse), and on the beach. The colours are bright due to the sunlight. The sun shines so beauifully. The living is easy. I'd play that for a bakery. Associate the joie de vivre and pleasure of the senses with the ability to go to the bakery three times a day to always get a crisp just baked baguette.
