I'm taking a trip to Europe. The trip will take about 15 hours. I hate the idea of not being able to freshen up before I get off the plane. What is 'allowed' in carry-on luggage, these days? By sucatash

Just no liquids so tk some wipes or something, plus some airports are being more strict on things like lipsticks so the best thing to do is check with your airline who should of been notified by the BAA... Hope this helps, enjoy your hol!! Other Answer
Flying OUT of UK airports with LIQUIDS is a no-no.
Also less hand-luggage is allowed than before. About the size of a lap-top computer. But not one of those Dell ones, with the Sony battery, that keep bursting into flames, PUH-LEASE!!
Enjoy!
Any as long as it's not bottles.
Anything that is liquid or gel isn't allowed when you are checking through your handluggage.
Someone told me that you can buy toothpaste etc. in dutyfree (this was at Heathrow) and then carry it onto the plane. Maybe you could check at the airport you will be leaving from.
Not much just a little plastic bag of stuff.
