yea, what know it all up above said....also make sure you get to see some "estancias" (ranches). if wine and barbecue are included, you will love it
I spent a weekend in Ushuaia (Argentina). It was awesome.
I took a tour on the Beagle Channel. You can see a lot of penguins, see lions etc. You get used to them after a while.
The scenary is beautiful.
There are also tours to nearby lakes and glaciars.
Make sure to go there during summer, preferably during January. Your clothing must be appropriate. Its very cold, windy, humid, and the days are very short.
