What type of electrical wall outlets do they have in Ireland?

By BobbyHere in Ireland we use 230 volts as supply voltage. Most sockets/powerpoints are 3 pin with rectangular pins which are the same as those found in the UK.
Adaptors are available for Continental European 2 pin and 3 pin plugs bit unfortunately nearly all American appliances wont work here.Battery chargers for Newer Digital Cameras and Video cameras tend to be able to use any voltage from 110volts to about 250 volts You just need the right adaptor and there is one abvailable for American plugs that can plug straight in to the mains here.

Three pin sockets, same as UK.
yes they are 3 pin plugs 110Volts or 220 volts if the usa is 110 then ireland is 220 visa versa. Dublin native.
Go to your local AAA office. They sell adapters for each area of the world. I got one there to travel with in UK and Ireland.
All modern electrical outlets in ireland use a 3 pin plug and the local supply is 220v
