There's a hotel right in fron of the airport. The name is Las Mercedes. Of course, there are other options like the Hotel Princess, Hotel Intercontinental Metrocentro, Holiday Inn, Clarion Plaza Inter, etc., most of them located within 20 minutes from the airport.
If you have little time to spend, go to 'las isletas' in Granada (30 miles away from Managua) or the "Volcán Masaya", some 15 miles away from the capital. In Managua you should also go the the Huembes market, where you can buy some handicrafts.
