I always been curious, why did they wear fishnet tights - where did it come from and why it's a "mustbe" for some dances?

Kalvaina - but why FISHNET ones, not usual ones? :) Because of higher contrast when looking at legs?
As to "mustbe"... hmm... I'd like myself to know where they are "mustbe". However, I've seen they're very often used in latin dance performances...

Armandito - don't know - i've watched sport dances on TV from a while ago: sandalias dorados, medias cancan de malla :) - it's what i've seen a lot. Ok, I've also seen the article (souce is at http://www.dancefreak.com/) where some salsa dancer says why she wears fishnet tights: to hide some lacks and make legs look more fit (she's not very slim). But I've also seen fishnet tights on perfect legs ;) One more thought - it's less hot in fishnet tights... But why not to dance without tights at all then? Hmm..By sexopulos

Because it´s sexy and it makes your legs look better.Most actresses do wear them as well in theatre...
