my boyfriend and i are visiting montreal and the three things we really would like to do are visit a microbrewery, a sing-along bar, and good poutine (he had some at burger king and is now slightly poutine jaded). Any recommendations? By to visit montreal

I go to university in Montreal, so this is a no brainer for me! You have to go to Brutopia on Crescent St. just south of St. Catherines St. if you want the best beer in the city brewed on spot with great live entertainment, especially thursday nights. In terms of poutine, I love Alto's restaurant on Parc St. just north of Sherbrooke st. (about a 15 min. walk from Brutopia). I hope this helps you.
