i hav a couple viruses and a trojan on my computer i have tried online scanning an nothin i try can remove them i cant even restore my computer if u can help me i would appreciate it. By jimmy_d55

make note of the location of the virus. restart your computer and boot into safe mode, press F8 as the computer boots, when in safe mode goto where the virus is located, and delete, make sure you empty your recycling bin and reboot, run your virus scan again. repeat as necessary. also note if the virus is in your system restore files, you might have to totally delete the volume information because it can repropgate itself on boot.
The reason that even the best virus programs can not remove some viruses is because they are currently executing (in resident memory) by going into safe mode they will not be in the memory.

oh dear, just format your computer.. save all important files and reinstall windows. Buy strong anti-virus like McCafe or Norton also buy Registry mechanic to fix registry errors....
