You can eat the Camembert as you like, with ou without the white skin. The French use to eat with the skin.
How to eat ? with french baguette, of course, just put a portion of Camembert on the bread and eat ! Miam miam, que c'est bon, as they said !

Leave the skin on. Treat it like any other soft cheese (like a brie)
Crackers work nice, but be advised it is a acutely sharp, pungent cheese.
Camembert is NOT to be taken orally, but rectally. Just smear a bunch on your finger and have at it.
You can eat the skin...I like to put the whole wedge in the oven and heat it up a little bit then dip crusty french bread slices in it...

Don't freeze it - keep in fridge. Peel the white skin before eating, it's very bitter. Try a soft bread - a french loaf, or maybe some pumpernickel.

You should slice the top bit of wax off, then rub garlic over the cheese. Then put it in the oven for 10-15 mins (still keeping it in the wooden box, no lid though) and then dunk crusty bread in it!!

you can eat it with the skin on. Don't freeze it, you want it to be at room temperature and soft. A nice way to eat it (if you like this sort of thing) is to peel it and wrap it in parma ham.
