how do u tie a rakhi.....hmmmmm.....well since im a guy and my sister has been tieing one for me for years i maybe able to help you.
generally, u have to take some sweets with you, some red powder (to make a dot and rice), u first put the dot on for ure brother and the rice over the dot, and then u tie the rakhi for him...... just tie a knot, and when ure done, u put a sweet that u brought into his mouth. generally the brothers give something in return. hope it helps u.
just tie it like a normal thread..
and one more thing, you're Muslim, so why do u need to tie a Rakhi?
